Student Presentation Proposal

Proposal Deadline: October 1, 2024

Student Poster Proposals may come from individual students or groups of 2 to 4 students. Posters may be on any topic from any academic discipline, but must focus on South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, or the Asian Diaspora. Proposals consist of a poster title and abstract, submitted through the on-line portal below. Additional information will be sent out after acceptance.

Students whose posters are accepted will present their research in two ways:

In a poster format for display at the conference.
In a PDF, video, and/or other format that can be shared digitally.

PDF’s (maximum length 4 pages) should include charts, graphs, and images with minimal text in order to capture the attention of the viewer.

Please provide an abstract of no more than 150 words in the space above. The title and abstract are tentative - you will have an opportunity to edit these after acceptance and before the March conference.

Posters are the standard form of presentation. You are also invited to display a video on a laptop in addition to the poster. You may update this in the coming months.
