ASIANetwork Policy on Program Eligibility

Except where noted, participation in ASIANetwork-funded opportunities is limited to those with current institutional, affiliate, or individual memberships. Further details are laid out in Membership Categories.

Participation in ASIANetwork’s conference or publishing venues is not restricted to those with current memberships.

Board Member and Program Leader Participation in Programs

• Currently-serving Members and nominees to the Board of Directors are eligible to apply for funding through ASIANetwork programs, except Members or nominees to the Executive Committee, who traditionally serve on selection committees for funding. The latter are ineligible to apply or receive funding during their term of service.
• ASIANetwork officers, program directors and leaders, and editors are eligible to apply for funding through ASIANetwork programs, except that program directors or leaders are ineligible to apply for the programs they lead.
• In keeping with ASIANetwork practice, members of selection committees including program directors and leaders, recuse themselves from evaluating applications from their own institutions.
