ASIANetwork Conference Student Presentations
ASIANetwork welcomes student participation in our conferences! The ASIANetwork conference is the leading venue for undergraduate students with an interest in Asia, Asian Americans, and Asian diasporas to share their academic work — including course projects, research, study abroad experiences, and creative/artistic efforts — with a community of peers and educators from across the country and beyond. ASIANetwork presentation proposals are reviewed by a committee of faculty before acceptance.
In addition to panel presentations and roundtable discussions on a wide range of topics, keynote talks by renowned scholars and teachers, performances and exhibitions, the conference offers students an opportunity to network with each other and meet representatives of numerous colleges and universities, foundations, and organizations such as Fulbright.
Student presentations are generally in the format of posters. You may submit your proposal using this form. Note that you may submit a tentative title and abstract. There will be an opportunity to edit and refine your submission after acceptance.
It will be helpful to meet with your academic advisor, faculty mentor, course professor, or study abroad officer to discuss your submission and potential avenues to fund your travel to the conference. You may be able to apply for a grant from your institution to support registration fees, airfare, and hotel costs.
Please reach out to the Conference Program Chair, Dr. Aswini Pai of St. Lawrence University, if you have any questions about participating in the conference.
