McJimsey Student Essay Award Recipient
Hongli Zeng, Colorado College
ASIANetwork is pleased to announce the winner of the 2023 Marianna McJimsey Award for the best undergraduate student paper dealing with Asia. The winning paper is entitled: "The Coral Tree: Chinese Students at Colorado College and their Racial Identities in the Early 1920s," by Hongli Zeng ('23). His faculty advisor for the paper is John Williams, Professor of History.
